New Direction (And Then Some...)

So it's been a while since I've last blogged. I went on a temporary hiatus, but for good reasons. I'll try my best to start blogging more.

The direction of this blog has changed..
At first I wanted to blog about all things entertainment... after all, that's what I love.
Then... I thought about blogging about fashion AND entertainment.
Wasn't happy with that.

So for a while, I just sat and contemplated about what I really wanted to blog about... and honestly, I came up with this conclusion: WHATEVER. I. WANT!

And I'm starting tonight. With something short, sweet, and to the point.

I came across a photo today...  

of Kimora Lee and her new husband.
EOnline reported that she secretly got married (for the third time, no disrespect, but sheesh!) to businessman, Tim Leissner. 

And normally, I'm all for marriages and people being happy! But I instantly became somewhat a perfect mix of bitter and curious.

How in the world are people out here getting married 3 or more times, but yet...

I'm struggling to even come across a man who will buy me McDonald's WITHOUT complaining about it!

Now mind you, I'm in my early twenties, so marriage is not necessarily on my radar just yet, nor am I "on the prowl" hunting for a man... But really.

I'm from little ol' Indiana... the Hoosier state... where I'm almost convinced more than majority of the men here want to be rappers, party promoters, or would rather spend time bragging about the money they don't have on social media.

... Where men write extremely long Facebook statuses saying, "I want a girl who is college educated, independent, beautiful, long hair, has her own job/car/home, no kids, etc."
... Where the same men writing that status are the same men who have 10 or more kids (by at least 5 different women), no job/car/home, relying on others for money or favors, etc.

How. Annoying.

Woosah.

Had a moment there.

Now this post wasn't to bash men, because I'm sure there are decent men out there in Indiana... but I wish you would come out of hiding! There are a handful of ladies wanting to at least meet you!

Hello Mr. Nice Watch!

Now we all know every rapper loves his gold chains, his iced out jewelry, and in rapper, Ace Hood's case... nice watches!

The DJ Khaled label rapper was all about flashing the gold and showcasing the diamonds all on his expensive Rolex watch until...

THE DIAMOND FACE FELL OFF!

You read correctly, the diamond face of his Rolex watch fell apart on the red carpet of the BET Awards. Just in case you missed it, we have you covered.. Take a look.

How embarrassing! I must admit, I give him props for trying to actually PIECE IT BACK TOGETHER! Ace seemed quite embarrassed himself.

For it to happen right then at that moment, I was like, 'You could have had this happen anywhere else. I just performed. I just ripped down the stage, everything. But you chose to let it be there, that's how I know the Devil be working.

Really Ace? I wouldn't necessarily blame the Devil for this... I'd be blaming your jeweler.

And that he did.

According to an article from tlcnaptown.com, the high-end rapper fired his jeweler. Poor guy.

Looks like Ace doesn't need to be waking up in a new Bugatti anytime soon, more like in a real jewelry store. *sigh*

But don't worry, Ace Hood isn't the only celebrity with bad moments. We have five celebrities who can easily share his pain of embarrassing stories. Enjoy!

Jennifer Lawrence's ball gown by Christian Dior was definitely on the "Best Dressed" list during this year's Oscars. Before accepting her award for "Best Actress", she tripped, and face planted on to the stairs! Yikes!

Who can forget the infamous lip-syncing incident on Saturday Night Live which was pretty much the most memorable moment of Simpson's career! The singer gets caught lip-syncing when the wrong track plays and begins to do this awkward hoedown dance before sadly exiting the stage. EMBARRASSING!

Black Eyed Peas front woman, Fergie, literally had a performance so good it made her pee her pants! Literally! Yuck!

Beliebe it or not! Justin Bieber had his fans, and myself, totally grossed out while throwing up in the middle of singing on stage at a show in Phoenix! According to an article I read, Bieber blamed the accident on milk. Guess milk doesn't do the body so good after all?

Actress, Sofia Vergara literally bursts at the seams out of her gown at the Emmy Awards! Vergara is bootylicious, showing off her cheeky assets after the zipper busted on the right! Yikes!

Bringing Up Old News: Amber Rose and Kanye West

We're pulling the stitches out of an old wound... 

That wound is the former relationship of Amber Rose and Kanye West. 

Now we all remember the couple when they first were an item. Walking around in their leather jeggings and Jordan's, holding hands and the infamous tongue kissing picture.

But... What has life been like for life after AmbYe? (Yes, I just made that up). 

After rolling around YouTube during breaktime, I came across an interview that Amber Rose did with famous blogger (one of my entertainment news faves) Necole Bitchie. This was uploaded in January 2012, and it kind of gave me a new perception of Amber. Not that I ever disliked her, but it made me like her a lot more than I did.

Rose (who is now dating rapper, Wiz Khalifa - love them together by the way) brought up some interesting points that I felt should be shared. Rose claims that Kim Kardashian (his new girlfriend and baby's mother) is the reason their relationship ended. Though Rose shows no hard feelings (because she has clearly moved on), she mentioned something that I feel women, celebrities or not, need to hear.

Don't blame the other woman, when the man does you wrong.

PREACH IT AMBER!!! PREACH ON!!!

What satisfaction are you getting by blaming the other woman when your man was equally responsible for doing you wrong and cheating? There is none.

No explanation needed for that.

And Rose brought up another thing, forgiveness...

I forgave him. I moved on. I'm past all that.

You can spend your life being miserable and blaming everyone for a relationship that went sour, or you can pick yourself up, forgive the other party and keep it moving. Being the "bigger person" is something we all need to learn how to do. Not only in relationships, but in life... period.

And my last point, letting a man define you...

Kanye didn't make me, my mother & father made me. Kanye had other girlfriends before me, no one gave them the attention that I got because of ME, it's ME.

SAY THAT! A man should never be the reason you are relevant, or the reason you "exist" to others. Amber Rose was Amber Rose BEFORE she met Kanye. Though he may have given her more of a shove into the CENTER of the public eye, she was doing her thing before (I seen her in a few music videos before Kanye was even in the picture, officially).

I thought this interview basically gave Amber the chance to open up about the "behind the scenes" of the infamous Kanye and Amber relationship that we heard LITTLE of. We don't know what goes on when the cameras are off, or when the stage lights dim. Like Necole Bitchie said, what we see is the glamorous side of it all. All we see is front row at the fashion show, and hopping on and off private jets.

I hope my lady blabbies took something away from this post when it comes to relationships.
1) Putting the other woman on blast, hating her, blaming her when your man is EQUALLY responsible... does nothing.
2) Learn to let go of hard feelings, and forgive. I don't know what some of you have been through, but putting hate in your heart will eventually consume you, and eat you alive. Nothing wrong with forgiving... People let us down in life everyday, that is just the way it is.
3) Don't let anyone, a man in this case, define who you are. You were somebody before you met them, you'll be somebody after them. Period.

HIS AND HERS? Who Wore It Better!

We're always trying to dress like our favorite celebrities and fashion icons, but dressing like your significant other? Yeahhhhh... I don't know about that one!

Some of you have probably already seen this photo floating around your Instagram or Twitter timelines...

I'm not sure whether to consider this cute, or actually kind of creepy. Now if I had to give my opinion, Gabby definitely wore it better... D. Wade on the other hand, probably would have to take a loss on this one (like he does on most of his "fashionable" attire, but that's a different story for a different post... Is that a "man purse" in his hand?).

Gabby and Wade aren't the only couples in Hollywood dressing alike, we've found a few others for your viewing pleasure...

Singer, Mariah Carey and husband, Nick Cannon

Now, I love Mariah Carey and she's one of my favorite artists... but I feel like her and Nick get a little too carried away with their outfits. Brown is a terrible color to dress in (that's my opinion though), and those red boots are hurting my eyes, but that's beside the point. Either way, it's more so "corny" than it is cute. Thumbs down.

Basketball star, Kobe Bryant, and wife, Vanessa Bryant

If I were judging on who wore this outfit better, it would have to be Kobe. Though I think Vanessa Bryant is gorgeous, she would have been better off wearing a black dress. There's a time and a place for everything, and the whole "I'm matching my husband with the suit & tie" theme is not fitting for the occasion... Especially at an event sponsored by Saks. Sorry Vanessa.

Kim Kardashian, and boyfriend, Kanye West

And of course, making it onto another Blabbermoth post is the infamous KIMYE! The picture speaks for itself with the matching leather jeggings and white t's. I'm not really a fan of the peplum shirt on Kim, or the leather pants on Kanye', but hey, whatever floats their boat.

Nothing says "I love you" like matching your sig fig, right? In my opinion, dressing like your significant other is cute on two occasions: 1) If you're in high school, and 2) If you're about to take family pictures. 
I'm not knocking any couples who have done this before, because all of us have at one point, but seriously, if it's not for a specific event, why do you even want to dress like your other half? Thoughts? TAKE OUR SURVEY AND VOTE Blab it to us!

Ye' or Nay?

When it comes to rapper, Kanye' West, you can either love him or hate him, right? While a lot of people think he is the greatest of our time, there are a lot of people who refer to him as a "jackass", or anything of the negative tense.

While the dislike for West continues to grow, we believe it all started after the infamous moment at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009, where West dissed country star, Taylor Swift, after she won "Video of the Year". This probably would be named the moment, where West was proclaimed as the infamous "a**hole of Hollywood". In case some of you don't recall this moment, or you just want to relive it for a good laugh, here it is...

But really though, what's his deal?

His album, "Yeezus", which is West's sixth solo album and is set to be released on the 18th of this month (but yes, it has been leaked), has brought mixed reviews. Some are referring to it as "genius", some refer to it as "don't waste your money". Hmm....  Which brings me to my next point.

I was on Instagram last night, and came across a post regarding West's song, "Blood On The Leaves" (also on the "Yeezus") album... And, one particular section in the lyrics was highlighted... And coincidentally it matched a particular situation between West's ex-girlfriend, Amber Rose, and her soon to be husband, Wiz Khalifa. Take a look..

Hmmm... Shots fired?

Now we do not know if this was an intentional diss to the happy couple or not, but if this is true, it seems like West spends an awful lot of time throwing shade at other people. You would think West would be happy by now. He has a successful career, dating one of the baddest chicks in Hollywood, AND got her pregnant! Why throw salt on your ex and her new life? Maybe it's his way of say "Congrats on the marriage and baby, Amber!"

Speaking of Congratulations...

Congratulations to KimYe', and the birth of their baby girl! Details from EOnline indicate the baby weighed a little under 5 pounds, and is basically Kim's mini-me with the dark hair. Though the couple has not revealed the name of their new addition, EOnline reports that the name will "start with a K", and could possibly have West's late mother's name, "Donda", as her middle name.

BREAKING NEWS: LIL' WAYNE IN CRITICAL CONDITION!!!!!

UPDATE (3/16/13- 12:53AM)
Sources at hospital indicate Wayne is now recovering from his seizure. Members of YMCMB & Cash Money tweeted on the recovery of Wayne and that he is doing fine.

Mack Maine, Wayne's close friend and business partner, tweeted "...we will be releasing an official statement shortly, but don't believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe...that's false." -- People Magazine

Gee, wonder where we could have gotten those claims from. Thanks a lot, TMZ.   

Wayne also acknowledged his fans for their prayers and love via his Twitter account. Glad to know you're OK, Wayne! We are praying for you! -- THE Blabbermouth

UPDATE (3/15/13- 8:45PM)
Final decisions regarding Wayne's health, will not be made until his mother arrives. She is currently on a plane to Los Angeles. -- TMZ  

Rapper, Lil' Wayne, has been hospitalized and currently in a coma. TMZ reports the 30-year-old rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A., Tuesday night, after suffering multiple seizures. 

Wayne was released Wednesday, but was found unconscious in his room by his bodyguard just hours later. Wayne has been rushed to the hospital again, but was not stabilized.

Sources tell TMZ that Wayne is currently "unstable", in critical condition, and it is not looking too good at the moment. Several people are at Wayne's bedside including other rap artists and family members. Sources also indicate that Wayne went on a sizzurp binge (cough syrup mixed with sprite/other soda, and jolly ranchers) after being released from the hospital Wednesday. Doctors found high amounts of codeine in his system. TMZ also reports that Wayne's stomach has been pumped 3 times to eliminate the drugs from his system.

Mother monster herself, Lady Gaga, is recovering from hip surgery and laying low from the scene for a few weeks. Gaga was seen rolling out of the doors of her hotel in New York City in a 24-karat gold-plated wheelchair! Yes, you're reading this right, a 24-karat-gold-plated wheelchair! 
The star studded wheelchair, fit for royalty, was designed by Gaga's jewelry designer, Ken Borochov from Mordekai. 
Talk about fancy. Is that leather cushioning on the seat? Goodness.
Speaking of features, the chair also includes a REMOVABLE CANOPY! 
Borochov joked with People magazine, "I was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed: The Chariot, a chair only fit for a queen!"

CHRIS BROWN VS. FRANK OCEAN!

DING! DING! DING! In this corner, with the blonde hair and tattoos, CHRIS BROWN.... 

- We all know Chris Brown has had quite a few issues. Things haven't been the same for the superstar after the 2009 incident between his girlfriend, Rihanna. We know Brown is fond of brawls as news reports stated that he was recently involved in another altercation Sunday night outside the Westlake Recording Studio in West Hollywood, Calif. with....

DING! DING! DING! In this corner, with the dark hair and smooth voice, FRANK OCEAN! His real name is Christopher also, what a coinky-dink! Ocean made headlines after coming out with his sexuality a few months back...  

What the heck happened?!
According to an article from TMZ, sources close to Brown say the altercation was started by Ocean. When leaving the recording studio, Frank Ocean and his entourage blocked Chris Brown from leaving. "This is my studio, this is my parking spot," Ocean said. (sources say)

... So wait? They fought over a parking spot? That's cute. Not.

TMZ goes on to say that sources, connected to Brown, indicate Brown went to shake Ocean's hand when one of Ocean's entourage members attacked him. One of Brown's friends then jumped in front and hit Ocean's friend. Ocean then came at Brown, Brown pushed him, and they proceeded to fight. The police were then called.

Ocean then later on went to Twitter:

got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest [his dog] was there. cut my finger now i can't play w/ two hands at the grammys.

While Ocean made jokes on Twitter, Brown went on to vent about the issue via Instagram... 

but... social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. so with that, i'm detaching myself from the world.

The singer then went on to make his Instagram page private. 

The aftermath....
MTV states that Ocean is looking into pressing charges against Brown, which could make a huge problem for Brown as he is still on probation after his 2009 incident with Rihanna. 

According to sources, Brown is now cooperating with police and wanting to tell his side of the story. Which is funny because Brown claims he didn't do anything wrong...

If that's the case, why is his hand in a cast?

The singer was seen Tuesday with a hard cast over his right hand, covering his knuckles. TMZ also states, Brown was not responsible for the first punch, but an eyewitness stated he intiated the attack with a swing. 

No one even signed his cast. :(

MOTHER KNOWS BEST!

Let's admit it... no one knows us better than our moms, right? 

This looks like that could be the case for little Willow Smith, child-star and daughter of famous acting couple Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith.

Willow, who made headlines with her debut single "Whip My Hair", no longer has hair of her own to whip anymore. According to People Magazine the young star recently chopped it all off! Crazy right?

What does mommy dearest think? Pinkett-Smith actually supports the new do that her daughter is trying. A quote from Pinkett-Smith's Facebook account confirms that:

"This is a world where women, girls are constantly reminded that they do not belong to themselves; that their bodies are not their own, nor their power or self-determination."

Pinkett-Smith's message continued on...

"If I teach her that I'm in charge of whether or not she can touch her hair, she's going to replace me with some other man when she goes out in the world."

Uhhhhhm.... What?

Maybe I'm over analyzing this issue, but is Pinkett-Smith really worried about Willow being allowed the "freedom" to cut her hair, or is she more worried about keeping her role of a "Momager" (mom/manager) and not being replaced?

1. Willow starts off with the cute and simple braids... A look that fits her face very well. Surely everyone remembers rocking the braids as a child, I know I did. Ahhh, the sweet and innocent days of childhood.

  2. Willow turns it up a knotch with this style... I'm not really sure of Willow's age, but I do feel this haircut is "too grown" for her. For the most part, it's cute, but this is something I picture on a 21-year-old college student, not a 10-year-old. (just saying)

3. OKAAAAAY... now the styles are starting to get a little crazier. I'm NOT a fan of this hairstyle at all. I'm all for individuality, and expressing yourself, but this is not doing it for me. The random patch of hair up top with braids, and color... no!!!

4. I'm not sure how old this picture is, I think it was around Sept. 2010, BUT Willow's hair is GORGEOUS in this picture. I love the slicked down, jet black look on her. It brings out the features of her face, she's a cute girl, and this cut showcases that. Thumbs up from me!

5. And we are back on the crazy train of Willow's hairstyles. This is her recent look, and it bothers me that she resembles a little boy in this picture. The bald fade look is very hard to pull off (I only seen 1 female celebrity able to do that). Willow Smith definitely failed at this task... I dislike.

It looks like the Kardashian sisters might have some competition in the fashion industry... Their little sisters!

Sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner are preparing to take over the fashion world without the help of big sisters, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe.

The Jenner sisters, often complimented on their unique and hip style, are teaming up with PacSun to create a fun, affordable and stylish clothing line, projecting to hit PacSun stores in February 2013. The line will be expected to include spin-offs of their own wardrobe, dresses, crop tops, stretch pants and collared shirts.

Their big sisters, Kim, Kourtney and Khloe are also known for their classic and trendy styles. The Kardashian sisters have DASH stores opened in selected areas, as well as "The Kardashian Kollection" line at Sears Department Stores.

According to an article from People Magazine, when asked about why they did not seek advice from their big sisters on their fashion endeavors, Kendall Jenner replied, "We didn't really (want) any advice, we wanted it to be more of a me and Kylie thing." 

They did not completely rule out their Kardashian sisters though! Kendall and Kylie go on to explain how much they are inspired by the different looks of their three siblings. Other fashion icons of the Jenner sisters include: Miley Cyrus, the Olsen twins, and Blake Lively.

My Opinion:
I'm a fan of the styles of the Kardashian sisters and the Jenner sisters. I'm personally excited about the launch of Kendall and Kylie's clothing line. I follow both of the Jenner sisters on Instagram, and I always find myself "liking" all of their fashion-related, "my outfit for today" posts. I admire that they are making their clothing line affordable and a store that everyone shops at...

WHO WORE IT BETTER?!

According to People Magazine it is the "Battle of the Bangs" for today's post! 

I'm sure you are all used to hearing Beyonce' and Britney Spears in the same category for Grammy nominations, MTV awards, or some other prestigious music related honor. Not in this case though, they're up in the same category in "Battle of the Bangs!" 

Beyonce' recently spotted with her hubby, Jay-Z, at the Brooklyn Nets basketball game, was caught showing off her new look to the public. From the curls... to a braided beehive bun... to the bangs! Even though I am a huge fan of the curly hair look on Beyonce, the bangs look is pretty cute on her. You go, B!

Britney Spears, was also seen with a similar bangs cut two weeks ago! Spears was spotted driving in Los Angeles before showing off her new look to the world on television show, The X-Factor. As much as I love Britney Spears, I am not a lover of the new bangs. It is easy to notice that her extensions do not match her real hair, as opposed to Beyonce' whose hair looks pretty natural and well-blended together. Another thing that does not really sell me on Spears' look is the fact that the bangs make her look twice as old.
